“To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did”
When God takes something from your grasp, He’s not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence…..
‘The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.’

Your blog popped up when I did a “will of God” wordpress search and I’m curious as to your last comment – “The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.” How would define or otherwise differentiate what constitutes the will of God? That is, how do you know if something truly is the will of God versus something that would just otherwise happen?
Thanks,
Bob
Bob I couldn’t agree with you more.
Where is this quote from? I found it last week and have it as my siggy on my email, but now I do not remember where I read it… Can ya help?
Thanks!
I’m sorry – not sure where I came across this quote!
You know that it is the will of God because God is sovereign. He’s in control of everything, including when a strand of your own hair will fall out. It’s natural to question what is God’s will and what is not, but I believe in that nothing happens for no reason, and that we are all going through life according to God’s will.
While I agree with many of your thoughts Nicole, there are a couple that I have to disagree with:
“When you are not close to God, you are open to Satan’s influence. ”
“God is stronger than Satan is. Being weak himself, Satan preys on people who have weak spirits.”
To my belief, if I believe in Satan, then I set up a separation from God. For me, there is only One God, not God and Satan. I may get sidetracked by my humanness but it is not Satan to me. There is only One Power, that One is God, may you find Him now!
The quote “the will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you”, was that found in the bible? If not where did you find this quote and from who?
